         THe B.O.L. is a private, Affordable, Communal-Housing for Artists, Students,
Entrepreneurs, extended stay travelers & transitional Renters of Los Angeles

- The low cost of Rent, 30 day minimum commitment and sharing a bedroom really  helps people  have more Time and Money to pay for higher eduction, focus on Work-life and/or take time to Relax and re-group by not working a job as many hours per week. 

 

Many of our housemates live here from 3 months to 2 years.  There is a cozy-friendly-communal vibe here and not a transient vibe.  This is first and foremost housing, but there are definitely rooms/space at each house to study, make art, even music as you adapt to the accommodations.  Artist ready to take it to the next level rent commercial space with others.  Same with any entrepreneurs.  Students excel studying in group settings or on campus.

Living in a extended -family hostel to save money and have affordable housing is an empowering and wise choice over housing with 1 or 3 roommates you do not know well. Because of the built democracy of sharing a family home with 15 or more people naturally aids Us to Focusing on how to cook efficiently, how to shop for food efficiently, how to develop a routine with efficiency .  You'll learn how to have healthy relations with many people so when you are ready to pay more for less roomies or have your own place or share a place with a great spouse, you'll have all this experience on how to take care of yourself and them!

- BOL's co-living setup and house rules on the lease are the guidelines for all living here on how to share, clean, have good manners so all Housemates prosper until their next Chapter!  Housemates often make new and meaningful friendships, sleep well at night and not feel lonely.  You will have a network for jobs, gigs, learning where to explore, grow and imagine.   Introvert or extrovert, both live and sleep well here.

- Security deposit helps maintain good intentions.  Everyone is background checked for social, work, family, friends, criminal check.  No credit check.  The House Rules contract and House Managers help keep the House chores completed and inform housemates how to live best with their accommodations.

ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED & Maid Service

-  One Bill, one payment covers all utilities, weekly Maid, and main necessities; toilet paper, hand paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, sponges, pots, pans, property maintenance is provided with your monthly rent payment. 

​

*USC-FIG House - $600 / Month.                                   

​

*Burbank Oasis House - $700/Month

​

-  We hire outside the house Professional house cleaners whom deep clean once per week.  The houses stay very clean and livable compared to most roommate-apartment-house Situations!  Pest controlled thru Orkin.  House managers help maintain trash and kitchens and help housemates learn how to live communally.

​

-  At the B.O.L.  the houses are safe, clean, cozy, fun, Feng Shui'd, with the needed and common sense Amenities for you to navigate with ease in the house so you can be productive with work and social life outside of the house.

EASY ACCESS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

-  2 Large L.A. Family Oriented house locations are very central to all major Los Angeles cities.   

​

- All locations PERFECT for Housemates who do not own a Car.  All houses have space for bikes to be locked up.  

​

- All houses have blocks of free un-permitted, Street Parking. 

​

- USC- Fig House -  has gated parking. (5 vehicles)   The 81 bus Stop is one house down from Fig. Which takes you downtown or to the Expo Line.  10 minutes bus ride.   Google map our locations please!       

 

- Burbank Oasis house  is .9 miles  from the Antelope Train line.  The bus is .1 mile and will take you to the Train Station.

You Want a Breezy Bunk House and Good intentional place to live.

​

- All our Lodges have sturdy Bunks, Mattress-covers, Private Lockable large Wardrobe cabinet (2x3x6 feet)!   Practical space for fashionable line up of clothes rather than a locker in a hot pod.  You can fit 2 to 3 Large suitcases of clothes.  Ask on Tour how much space.

​

- Different from many shared rooms, communal apartments or cramped hostels, you can breath easy in our bedrooms that have Windows opening to nice views and fresh air.  Good air flow for good sleep.   A pod can get really stuffy and hot, unless it has a.c. vent. 

​

- A/C in all bedrooms.  Heat too.  Travelors say these houses are the most cozy Hostel, family shared home they been.  You will see the space during a Tour.

 

- Lots of outdoor couches, shade, trees.  Many nooks and space to spread out, chill solo or with a group.  Study space.  Smoke outside!  Just not inside, duh! LOL

 

- The houses do not feel over-crowded.  Towel hooks and hammocks!  4 people per fridge and individual dry food storage.  Space for musicians gear and Actors gear.

​

- Communal House Signs, on site washer and dryer, house managers.

​

- Keyless Code entry on all Doors.  Security cams in common space.  Gated Properties.
